Coronavirus - Open for Business as Usual Challenor Gardiner want to let you know what we are doing to minimise any disruption to the provision of our legal services due to the Coronavirus epidemic, a third national lockdown and the Government's advice for people to stay at home and to work from home, if possible. The government advice during this third lockdown is that solicitors and law firm staff should from home, if possible, but if this is not possible, they can leave home to work in the office. Solicitors must try to see clients remotely and deliver services virtually, but again if this is not possible then face-to-face meetings are permitted. Solicitors and paralegals working on ongoing court proceedings and in connection with the execution of wills are considered "key workers". Moving home will still be allowed and you will still be able to view properties and continue to be able to move during the lockdown, while following Covid guidelines. Business continues as normal. Our solicitors and support staff work both from home and from our offices, which remain open as normal, subject to the above, and we can offer meetings with clients where we are unable to do so remotely by pre-booking meetings in advance and following government guidelines on social distancing, wearing of face masks and hand hygiene. We have taken the following measures to continue delivering our services to you by the following means: Pre-booked meetings Video conferencing Taking instructions and providing advice by telephone and email Ensuring staff have the facilities to work in the office and from home, connect to our servers and to cloud-based systems, VOIP telephony integrated with the office allowing them to continue providing you with a dedicated service. Thank you, Wills, Trusts & Probate
As private client lawyers we specialise in wills, will planning and probate. We prepare wills and advise on estate planning, prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney, carry out probate and estate administration and more for our clients. Our team understand the importance of making provision for your family and loved ones and are on hand to help put everything in order for you.
